Integrated marketing campaign

For San Francisco Unified School District, we produced an integrated marketing campaign to increase enrollment in San Francisco's public schools. Marketing challenges included overcoming language barriers, and implementing on a minimal budget. Innovative tactics included:

  • an enrollment mini-website, designed to provide immediate communication to support enrollment needs while the full district website was being designed
  • development of an interactive school selector to enable parents and students to easily find a school to meet their needs
  • engaging print pieces designed to communicate to a broad audience

District website design and development

San Francisco Unified School District also enlisted The Grossbauer Group to design and develop the district’s new core website. We worked with multiple stakeholders, including PR, IT, translation, and enrollment specialists, to develop an engaging, easy-to-use website to serve a diverse audience of parents, students, and community members.

Website project components included development of both the interface and the mechanics to provide trilingual content delivery, strategic re-organization of website content and navigation, and development of a heavily customized content management system (CMS) to enable in-house website management by over 60 content managers.
